Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to all sessions, workshops, and activities delivered by STEMPunx Lincs CIC.
Booking, attendance, and participation
​By booking a session, you agree to the following terms.

All sessions must be booked and paid for in advance via our website

We do not accept cash payments at sessions

A booking is confirmed once payment has been received

Please ensure all details provided are accurate at the time of booking

Session details, including location, will be provided at the time of booking

Payments

Payment is required at the time of booking

Payments are processed securely via our booking system
-
We do not store full payment details
Cancellations & Refunds

Sessions are planned in advance with staffing, resources, and small group sizes in mind.

For this reason:

Bookings are non-refundable
-
We are unable to offer refunds for non-attendance
-
Where possible, and at our discretion:

Bookings may be transferred to another session if sufficient notice is given
-
If a session is cancelled by us, you will be offered:
-
A full refund
-
Or the option to transfer to another session
Participation & Wellbeing

Our sessions follow a regulation-first approach.

Participation is always optional
-
Individuals may observe, take breaks, or step out as needed
-
We aim to create a calm, supportive environment at all times
Supervision & Responsibility

Parents/carers remain responsible for children unless a session is clearly advertised as drop-off
-
If a participant requires additional support, please inform us in advance
-
We reserve the right to adjust participation if needed to maintain safety
Behaviour
-
We aim to support all participants with understanding and flexibility.

However, if behaviour presents a risk to the individual or others, we may:

Pause participation
-
Contact a parent/carer
-
End the session early if necessary
-
This will always be handled calmly and with care
Shared Expectations

To help create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for everyone, we ask all participants to:

Respect personal space and boundaries
-
Not touch others or their belongings without permission
-
Use appropriate language
-
Engage in a way that feels safe for themselves and others

We understand that everyone has different needs and ways of communicating. Our approach is supportive and flexible, and we will always aim to guide behaviour calmly and respectfully.

Where behaviour presents a risk to others, we may need to pause participation or adjust involvement to maintain a safe environment.
Health & Illness

To help protect all participants, families, and staff:

Please do not attend sessions if you or your child are unwell
-
This includes symptoms such as:
-
fever
-
vomiting or diarrhoea
-
contagious illnesses
-
We take a cautious, community-focused approach to illness to help keep everyone safe and well.

If illness prevents attendance, please contact us as soon as possible.
Arrival Times

Please arrive on time for your session
-
Late arrivals may not be able to join once a session has begun, depending on the activity
Photography & Media

We may occasionally take photos for promotional purposes.

We will always seek appropriate consent
-
No images will be used without permission
Safeguarding
-
We follow safeguarding procedures to ensure all participants are safe and supported.

Any concerns will be handled in line with our safeguarding policy.
Changes to Sessions

We reserve the right to:

Make minor changes to session content
-
Adjust timings if necessary
-
Cancel sessions where required
-
We will always communicate changes as soon as possible.
