Service Description

Monster Hunters Club (10:00am – 12:45pm) Enjoy an informal start during our drift room session and stay to socialise for our supervised lunch. Monster Hunters Club is a weekly immersive adventure designed to support curiosity, confidence and connection through a regulation-first approach. Working within a small, consistent group, learners become newly recruited Monster Hunters, investigating mysterious creatures from around the world through science, engineering, art and storytelling. We begin with a gentle arrival period, allowing children time to settle into the environment, connect with peers and explore the week's case file at their own pace. This low-demand start helps learners feel safe, regulated and ready before moving into the investigation. Each session then unfolds through a carefully structured pathway: 🔍 Creature Investigation – examining evidence, mythology, habitats and sightings linked to the week's cryptid or legendary creature 🎨 Creative Evidence Building – creating field sketches, models, maps, engineering challenges, experiments or artefacts linked to the case 📁 X-File Development – adding discoveries, observations and evidence to a personal Monster Hunter Field Notebook that grows across the year 🗣 Reflection & Debrief – sharing discoveries, discussing theories and preparing for the next investigation No prior knowledge is required. Learners are free to participate through drawing, making, writing, discussion, observation or independent investigation, allowing multiple pathways into engagement. This is a drop-off session, with supported transitions available where helpful. Suitable for ages 8–14 Group size limited to 8 ✔ Regulation-First & SEND-aware ✔ Home Education friendly ✔ Flexible participation styles ✔ Science, engineering, art & creative writing ✔ Available as a stand-alone session or as part of a package The truth is out there...
