Service Description

Develop character design skills through observation and transformation. In this session, participants begin by drawing from observation, using a real object as their starting point. From there, they reinterpret and develop that subject into a character—exploring how it can change through age, style, or context. Guided by illustrator Yen Ip, participants are introduced to model sheet creation, drawing their character from multiple angles to understand form, structure, and consistency—key techniques used in animation and illustration. In this session, participants will: Strengthen observational drawing skills Develop and refine character ideas from a clear starting point Explore transformation from real object to original design Practice multi-angle drawing and character consistency Designed to feel: Calm and focused Structured, with space for creative interpretation Supportive and accessible for a range of abilities No prior experience needed.
