Service Description

Wednesday Programme An experience designed to support a calm, confident rhythm—blending gentle arrival, imaginative exploration, creative making, and strategic play within a small, consistent group. The day begins with our Drift Room (30 minutes) — a soft, social start where children can arrive, regulate, chat, draw, read, or simply settle into the space at their own pace. This supervised, low-demand period helps everyone transition comfortably before the day begins. The morning then moves into: Monster Hunters Club (10:30am–12:00pm) Each week, young investigators step into a world of myths, legends and mysterious creatures. Through field reports, evidence files, practical challenges, creative projects and collaborative problem-solving, participants build their own Monster Hunter field notebooks while uncovering the science, history and folklore behind famous cryptids and legendary beasts. One week they may analyse dragon remains, another they might investigate a phoenix feather, track a woodland cryptid or classify an unknown specimen recovered from a remote expedition. Monster Hunters Club combines storytelling, science, creativity and curiosity in a way that encourages exploration, discussion and independent thinking. Supervised Social Lunch (12:00pm–12:30pm) A supported space to eat, chat, relax and recharge before the afternoon session begins. The afternoon continues with: Warhammer Wednesday (1:00pm–2:30pm) In the afternoon, participants enter the worlds of Warhammer through miniature building, painting and tabletop battles. Young hobbyists can assemble models, learn painting techniques, develop strategic thinking and engage in friendly games within a welcoming and supportive environment. Whether completely new to the hobby or already commanding armies, participants are encouraged to learn at their own pace. The session develops: • Creative confidence • Fine motor skills • Strategic thinking • Problem solving • Sportsmanship and teamwork • Patience and attention to detail What to expect across the day: • A gentle, supported start with time to settle • Small-group delivery for a calm, focused environment • A balance of creativity, imagination and structured challenge • Opportunities for social connection and collaborative play • A Regulation-First approach supported by experienced facilitators • Clear routines with flexibility to meet individual needs Good to know: Suitable for ages 7+ Group size limited to 8 participants
